Recently I answered a Twitter request for help from Lisa, aka Amethyst Lane, and to be quite honest, I misunderstood the request and sent directly to her. :) Afterwards, she said she would let me know later how the energy felt to her, and this is what she said:
"I am very guarded in general so asking for communal help to assist in my healing work is rare. Several answered the call and I appreciate all. Yours was very distinct and I am not sure it reflects your personality because we've never met but I *knew* it was from you. Your energy was patient and unobtrusive. It waited for me to be ready to receive it (apparently recognizing my guardedness). It was gentle and when I opened myself to it, it enveloped me like a gentle breeze building in power and lingering until I could drop my guards, breathe naturally, and rest. In other words, "it was exactly what I needed". Thank you so much."
I cried. :)

I've always said that I want to help everyone feel better, and I've always meant it. I still do. But finding a niche to focus on is what all the marketing experts swear by, so thanks to my friend Lady Althaea and her tip to sign up for a free 5-day ecourse called #5toThrive by Fiona, I've found mine!
It comes down to this: I gently and energetically shift negative emotions, to help women move forward and open their lives to new possibilities. Isn't that wonderful?! When I wrote that in my notebook, everything just fell into place. :)
Now, this doesn't in any way mean that I will not continue to help with more than emotional shifts, nor does it mean I will only work with women from here on out; no! Everyone (animals, too!) and every issue will still be in my wheelhouse, I just found that this was the issue the vast majority of my work has been concerning.
I'm so excited!

I admit it: I'm a healing-light pusher. ;)
Yes, I fully intend to make my living as a healer very, very soon, and so paid sessions are obviously my bread and butter. That doesn't stop me from offering to send light to a friend when a need comes up out of the blue, though.
What interests me is that I sometimes receive a response such as, "I'd rather the energy be spent on those who need it more", which, to me, has two implications.
First, that there is a belief that a stubbed toe, a sudden headache, a hand that was slammed in a door isn't something that is worthy of being helped. That healing-light is only for "big" problems and ailments.
Nothing could be further from the truth! Healing-light is for every problem, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. No one needs to suffer simply because there are souls who are dealing with cancer, and in comparison your issue seems trivial. Your pain still matters, especially to you! Denying yourself relief in the erroneous belief that someone else "deserves" it more is counter-productive.
Maybe you need your pain healed so that you can unexpectedly help someone in more pain that you, or you're able to work and make a bit of extra money and donate it to a good cause, or you're able to help someone enter a store with a bit more ease...we never know what the 'verse has in store for us, and It is quite positive that we all deserve health. So it's ok to accept it!
I'll write about the second implication in my blog post next week!
How do you feel about accepting light for small problems, whether physical or emotional? Do you feel you aren't worthy of accepting it? Why? Please, I'd love to hear your comments!

Repost from 2014 on Wordpress:
This morning I woke to an email, asking about what I do, how it works, and mentioning that there are so many charlatans out there. She wanted to know, basically, if what I do is real and can I say I can really help.
I wrote a response, and then thought it might actually be a good idea to give you guys the meat of what I wrote, to help answer your questions, too. So here it is:
"Quite simply, I'm a conduit for Divine healing energy/light. The energy/light flows through me, and I can put my hands on someone and it will help them, or I can send it to someone anywhere in the world. Distance makes no difference.
I can not, and will never, promise that I can heal anything, because it doesn't work that way. As the 'in-between' person between you and Spirit/God/whatever you call "It", what I do facilitates the healing. But how deeply it helps the person is completely between that person and Spirit. We may think, on a conscious level, that we want to be healed of an ailment, but on an unconscious, deeper level, we may be getting something from being sick: attention we wouldn't have otherwise gotten, disability pay, being able to finally leave that job we hated because we are too sick to work....there's a lot that goes on between you and Spirit that is beyond my ken, and I would never, ever tell someone I can do more than what I do: work as an instrument of Spirit's healing, helping you and the Divine to connect in a way that you haven't, fostering the healing that the two of you decide is best for you.
I will tell you that once a week I send healing light to someone with cerebral palsy in England, and she says it feels like being in a hydro-therapy pool; also, my mother has something akin to Fibromyalgia and when I send to her, it helps her pain and clears her mind. It is not a 'fix-all' for either of them, but it does help.
I DO know that what I do helps, I DO know that you can feel better, I DO know that I'm not one of those amazing "lay on the hands and you are instantly cured" type of healers...I'm just me. Simply Pip. Spirit's helper. :)
