There's a lot going on this week! Right now it's the dark moon - mistakenly termed the new moon by almost every calendar out there, and then tomorrow night we should see the first sliver of a crescent moon, ushering in the new moon phase.
Add the equinox to that on Friday, and moving from Virgo to Libra...no wonder we're all spinning like tops!
One of my favorite sites it The Power Path, and I avidly read their monthly forecasts on the first, and then throughout the month. This is what Lena has to say about the Equinox:
"September 22: The Equinox is on Friday, September 22 at 2:02 PM Mountain Daylight Time. This is a marker for change. The death of one season and the birth of another. We always recommend honoring any change of season through a ritual or ceremony of some kind. Bring in all the elements of fire, water, earth and air to support you. This equinox is not necessarily a communal time but it can be. If you are with community it would also be good to take a little time alone to do a personal prayer or practice."
So many of us love fall, but do we honor the change? I know I don't. I have an inkling of what I will do to honor it this year, and sending healing light to the planet will definitely be part of it.
What do you plan on doing?
